11 Healthy Grazing Board Ideas For The New Year

After Christmas it can be hard to get back into eating healthy options, especially if you’re anything like me and have leftovers to last a lifetime. 

For many of us, starting the new year includes a bunch of resolutions, some of which may include working on our health and fitness. To assist you in starting the year on the right foot, here is some inspiration for healthy grazing boards that you can put together for your New Years Eve party (or any events you have at the start of the year), which can be a delicious, healthy alternative to heavy meals!

When we think of platters, we often picture crackers with rich cheeses, creamy dips and oily toppings, but there are so many ways you can put together a beautiful platter without your guests knowing they’re getting a bit of nutrition!

A fruit platter designed for a special friend who had to take a special platter to her dinner party this evening 🍉🍎🍇🥝 she was rushed off her feet so I whipped up something special for her whilst we caught up on life… we talked about our boys (she’s a mum of boys like me) about the importance of embracing our kids for who they are even if they are just ordinary it’s okay. We have become a society whereby pressure and results are the key focus rather than kindness,compassion and well being. Yet so many of our kids are floundering and struggling with anxiety and Depression. It’s easy to get caught up into the “comparison trap’ … if you have a kid who walks through life with self love and a happy heart ❤️ that’s worth everything!

2. A perfect mix of fruit, healthy dips and cheeses.

5. Platters don’t have to all be picky bits, you can include more substantial options – like wraps and protein balls.

6. If you want to include cheese and cold meats, you obviously can – just balance it out with some healthy options too!

 

7. Grazing boards or platters can also be breakfast appropriate! Smoothie bowls with toppings – for the morning after your party!

 

8. When you make a platter this colourful with healthy and fresh vegetables, it doubles up as a centrepiece. 

 

9. By using bowls, jars and layering, it gives your platter height and dimension, making it seem more bountiful!
